Rosita`s Mexican Restaurant in Libby

The food is excellent and so is the service but it is expensive.

I try to eat here every time I am in Libby. The meat is amazing! Flavor party for your taste buds!

Had a group of 7 to eat after a high school graduation. Was able to call ahead to have them hold a table for our group and they were happy to oblige. Food was above average & service was great. They now take credit cards (not do last year)& prices are very reasonable. If your in the mood for Mexican food (American style), then this is the place to go!

I had heard that this was the best Mexican food in Montana. I was not impressed and a little disappointed. The service was horrible and the food wasnt that good either. The food wasnt bad but it wasnt good either.

Every time I visit Libby I eat lunch here. Their tacos are awesome. Wait staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. I'd love to try all the menu items. Prices are very reasonable. They have various salsas that come with the chips and food, yum! Got to stop by this place while you are in Libby.

Great food, decent prices and quick service

The food was terrific! Had the fish tacos and really loved the island version. The fish was some of the best I've ever had. Missing a star because they don't have fountain pop!

This place is so expensive, and so non authentic. Everythings from a can or previously frozen. I've eaten here many times, had most of everything from the menu. The worst is ording to go for pick up because they skimp alot on the amount of food you get. Like with the dips, they barely put anything in the to go tin, its like enough for 4 chips. And the chicken from the fajitas is already cooked frozen chicken strips from like tyson, I've seen them for sale at rosauers. Not really sure why this place is so highly rated other than its the only mexican food place in the area. My advice is to save your money and go to mi pueblo in bonners ferry.

The best place to eat in libby

Always great authentic food and service is usually great. Wouldn't hurt if they hired a few more server's. Salsa's the best around and prices are decent. Best Mexican food in town.

I guess folks don't really know good Mexican food here. I ordered a burrito and it tasted like paper plus the staff are mask Nazis. I wasn't wearing mine over my nose (I have asthma/allergies) and they scolded me but there was a large group of boisterous teenagers in the central dining area, which is not very large, spraying all over the place. Stupid policy vigorously enforced by fake Mexicans.

Stopped in for lunch after a really hard time in my life. The shrimp nachos were lip smacking good. The customer service was perfect and the house salsa rocks. Treat yourself, stop in to Rositas when you get a chance, you’ll be glad you did!

Recently expanded, with a nice interior. Servers are friendly. They also have a chip/salsa bar now which is really nice! The only Mexican in town. It's good. Not spectacular but fine. Now serving alcoholic beverages.

I love the food here!! The chefs special burrito is packed full of yummy goodies! You can ask for whatever heat temperature you can handle! Serves beer and wine! Great local gem of a Mexican restaurant! 😍

The standard salsa and chips while waiting was anything but boring. LOVE the salsa! Enchilada with green tomatillo lime sauce and slightly sweet red sauce was delicious. My only regret was that we are only travelling through. Highly recommended.

Wasn't expecting much in Libby Montana so this was a delightful surprise! I had a fabulous taco salad with baby grilled shrimp but I can't wait to go back for the carnitas pork that my husband had...the seasoning in the pork was amazing! Service was fast and everyone was so friendly!

Not bad. Service was good. Prefer the chips the old way not the chip bar. Overall food was satifactory.

The lady working the counter was very rude. Food was ok .we had to wear mask which I don't have a problem with but you cannot take your mask off tell you have your drinks and chips. They are pretty rude about that. But there kitchen staff were not wearing mask. How hypocritical..there making our food.

Food was excellent ... owner was very rude.My friend said 'Hi' to the awesome chef, and owner crossed his arms with a frown and asked my friend what he needed. Then said that chef was busy, and Rick went back to our table with a sour taste in his mouth.They've lost our business for the foreseeable future ... unless we are assured the owner isn't around

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant with courteous staff and quick service. My taco was kind of lack luster but still good. The interior is OK and they have a chip and salsa bar for people ordering food. This is a pretty good place to over time try out the full menu, and isn't overpriced.

For those of you that have never really traveled anywhere outside 100 miles you don't know what's really authentic mexican food, because if you knew what flavors we use its not cumin in asada meat or beans with high salt content. It's not hard to get these things fine tuned. Service was almost racist not too helpful , needs better customer service to all .

I am from Kansas City and stopped here for lunch during a visit to Libby. BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER!!! Will definitely eat here again before I head back to Kansas. Good food, good service, and really nice people.

I ordered the chicken enchilada platter with green sauce, and I kid u not, it tasted like they dumped a gallon of lime juice on the enchiladas before serving them! My son ordered beef tacos which had like zero flavor. Worst mexican food I've had ina while

I have to say I was disappointed. The carne asada was dry and very salty. Their “super” taco was small. I expected more. Their green salsa was so good! It really helped the tacos we had.

Better place Mexican for sure. I didn't care for what I ordered but it's my fault. A shrimp burrito isn't exactly Mexican food. My wife liked her dish though. We'd be back the if we are in Libby again.
